The WGP drum tooth coupling with brake discs has a brake disc that can be adjusted by controlling the machine’s speed. As shown in the figure, the WGP brake drum group toothed coupling is divided into 2 forms: Type I and Type II, with the only difference being the different brake discs.
The WGP drum gear coupling with brake discs is an improved version of the gear coupling, consisting of internal gears and flange half belt coupling parts with the same number of teeth.
When the WGP drum tooth coupling with brake disc is in operation, the 2 tooth coupling has relative angular displacement, and the inner and outer gear tooth surfaces have periodic relative axial sliding, which inevitably leads to tooth surface wear and power consumption.
